it's my birthday!

hi! it's my birthday! i'm 16 now :) today didn't go exactly how i thought it would, but i enjoyed it anyway. it rained pretty much all day, so i wasn't able to go to the waterfall. that's fine with me, though. i don't usually do stuff during my birthday, so doing at least something was nice.

i was given an ebay gift card and some money, and i used the gift card to buy myself two 1st generation ipod nanos. i spent a bit of time looking at ipod nanos (i had never really considered them something viable to use because of their bad repairability & the fact that you can't flash mod them), and i figured i might as well give them a shot. (maybe even shuffles too?) ever since i got my vita, i've been looking for something small in comparison. i think an ipod nano is a good idea for that.

instead of going to that waterfall today, we went to a mall. (it was fun) we spend a lot of time just walking around, but we also went to some trinket stores and i got some cool little things. a krabby patty yo-yo, a notebook with a fuzzy cover, a magnetic phone power bank, and some other little things like that. all in all, i enjoyed myself.

to be honest, i feel the exact same being 16 as i was being 15. i don't feel any older or anything like that. i'm glad that i'm going to be able to get a job and get driver's ed now though. i'm looking forward to that part. other than that, i don't have much else to say about today. i hope your day was good today, and that you have a nice one tomorrow. bye bye now! :)
